Just had a minor plumbing disaster (leaky faucet, ugh) and realized I was totally unprepared. Had to run out mid-fix to grab plumber's tape and a new washer. Got me thinking - what plumbing stuff do you guys always keep around the house? Quick poll: what's your must-have plumbing item you never wanna be caught without?

Honestly, plumber's tape and extra washers have saved me more times than I can count. But if we're talking must-have... gotta go with the bucket. Had a tenant call me once about a "small leak," and by the time I got there, it was practically raining indoors. Ever since then, I keep buckets stashed everywhere - garage, basement, under sinks - you name it. Better safe than soggy, right?
- Adjustable wrench - saved me from panic-buying tools mid-leak.
- Extra shut-off valves. Learned the hard way when one snapped off...
- And yeah, buckets everywhere now. Lesson learned.
