What should a bathroom faucet replacement quote include?
When comparing bathroom faucet replacement quotes, what should be spelled out in the base price? I’d want to know whether it includes faucet removal and disposal, new supply lines, and leak testing.
How should the quote handle a shutoff valve that’s seized or starts leaking during the job? Should it state how extra labor and parts will be priced and require approval before that work proceeds?

The base price should itemize faucet removal and disposal, installation, whether new supply lines are included, and leak testing. For a seized or leaking shutoff valve, the quote should explain how added labor and parts will be priced; if feasible, give a fixed price for common valve work or an hourly rate and parts basis. Require the customer’s approval for the added work before proceeding.
