A simple drain routine between guest stays
For a shower or tub used by different guests, how often do you remove hair from the strainer as routine maintenance, even when the water is draining normally? I’m looking for a simple turnover habit that prevents buildup without taking apart the drain or treating it with chemicals every time.
Are there routine cleaning methods you’d avoid with common drain materials or finishes? And what change in drainage would make you stop treating it as ordinary upkeep and call a plumber, rather than just remove visible hair and keep an eye on it?
