What’s included in a garbage disposal replacement quote?
A low replacement quote is hard to compare if it’s not clear what the installation covers. Does it name the disposal model and say whether the existing mounting assembly will be reused?
I’d also want to know whether reconnecting the dishwasher, aligning the drain, and making the electrical connection are included or priced separately. If an existing part turns out to be damaged or incompatible, how should extra work and charges be approved before the job continues?

If the installer finds damage or a mismatch, I’d ask them to pause before doing the added work and provide the issue, proposed fix, and extra charge for approval. That way, the original replacement can be distinguished from the newly discovered work, and the installer isn’t relying on an assumption that you agreed to the added cost.
