Will a tighter shower drain cover slow things down?
How much hair a shower drain cover catches seems like only part of the choice. A tighter cover might need more frequent cleaning, and I’m not sure whether hair buildup can slow drainage before the cover looks obviously clogged.
How do you compare that style with a removable strainer that may let more debris through? Does compatibility mostly come down to the drain opening and whether there’s an existing stopper, and which style is easier to lift out and clean without disturbing the drain?
