Been thinking about switching to a compost toilet for our cabin, mostly because water is a bit scarce there. But I'm still kinda skeptical...I mean, are they really that much better than those modern low-flush toilets? I've heard compost toilets can be great if you maintain them right, but also heard some horror stories about smells and maintenance nightmares, you know? Anyone here tried both and got some real-world advice or preferences?
