Just found out that the day after Thanksgiving is the busiest day of the year for plumbers because of clogged toilets and drains... kinda gross but makes sense, lol. Anyone else heard weird plumbing facts like this?

Haha, yep, can confirm—it's definitely one of our busiest days. Another weird plumbing fact: you'd be surprised how often people accidentally flush cell phones or glasses. I've even had to fish out dentures once... awkward moment returning those. Also, heads up, flushable wipes aren't actually flushable despite what the packaging says. Those things cause so many blockages it's unreal.
Haha, this explains a lot about my first Thanksgiving as a homeowner. I thought I was being proactive by stocking up on those "flushable" wipes for guests... big mistake.

Wish I'd known that sooner—ended up spending Black Friday elbow-deep in plumbing tutorials instead of shopping deals. Lesson learned, regular TP only from now on. Glad to know I'm not alone in the struggle though!
Been there myself. First month in my place, thought I'd save money by DIY-ing a clogged drain—ended up flooding half the bathroom floor. Learned pretty quick that plumbing is one area where shortcuts rarely pay off. Now I keep a plunger handy and stick strictly to regular TP. Those wipes are convenient, sure, but not worth the headache later...
