toilet flooded again and I'm losing my mind
Seriously, I can't be the only one who's had to deal with this nightmare more than once. Just spent the last hour mopping up toilet water (gross, I know) and trying not to gag. Every towel in the house is now soaking wet and I'm pretty sure my bathroom will never smell normal again. Anyone else have tips or tricks for dealing with this mess without totally losing your sanity?

That sounds miserable. If you have them, put on gloves and use paper towels or a mop for the remaining water rather than soaking more household towels. Keep used towels separate until you can wash them, following their care labels. Then clean and disinfect the affected hard surfaces according to the product label - never mix cleaners. If it was sewage backing up, avoid handling it barehanded.
