Finally beat those pesky tree roots invading my pipes

Man, I've been battling with tree roots clogging up my plumbing for what feels like forever. Every few months, same old story - slow drains, backups, and me out there with a rented auger trying to clear things up. Got pretty tired of it, you know?

Anyway, last month I finally decided enough was enough and had a plumber come out to check it properly. He recommended this foaming root killer stuff that you pour down the toilet. Honestly, I was skeptical at first - seemed too easy - but figured why not give it a shot.

Fast forward to now, and wow...it actually worked. No more slow drains or weird gurgling noises from the toilet. Feels kinda silly how excited I am about clear pipes, lol. But seriously, it's such a relief not having to worry about it constantly.

Curious if anyone else has had luck with these foam treatments or found another trick that worked wonders for them?
