I hear you on the pen color thing—it’s like they’re looking for any excuse to send you back to square one. I get that they need to be precise, but honestly, how much does it matter if it’s blue or black ink if the info’s all there? It just feels like more hoops for regular folks who are just trying to get stuff done without paying an arm and a leg for a pro to handle the paperwork.

What really bugs me is how inconsistent it all is. One time I went in and the guy behind the counter actually handed me a little checklist, but the next time, different person, and I got the “you should know this already” attitude. It’d save everyone time (and probably money) if they just standardized things and gave out clear instructions up front.

I’ve started double-checking everything before I even leave the parking lot. Not that I want to spend my day sitting in the truck with forms, but it beats coming back for some tiny technicality. There’s gotta be a better way…
