Been there, done that, got the water stains to prove it. I swear, sometimes it feels like the inspectors are playing “good cop, bad cop” with my sanity. I started keeping a binder just for permit drama—photos, emails, even scribbled notes from phone calls. It’s not foolproof, but at least when someone tries to claim I never submitted Form 27B/6, I can flip to the tab and say, “Page three, right here.” Still, nothing slows a leak like city hall paperwork...
