Just finished getting my kitchen sink and faucet swapped out, and man, I'm feeling pretty proud right now. Was expecting it to cost an arm and a leg, but I shopped around a bit, found a local plumber who gave me a fair deal. Saved enough cash to splurge on pizza tonight, haha. Curious if anyone else managed to snag a decent deal lately on bathroom or kitchen upgrades...

Nice job! Did you go for stainless steel or something fancier? I've been eyeing a new faucet myself, but prices seem all over the place... wondering if pricier ones are actually worth it or mostly just hype.

Stainless steel is usually the sweet spot—good durability, decent looks, and not crazy expensive. I've installed plenty of pricier faucets, and honestly, sometimes you're just paying extra for brand names or fancy finishes that don't hold up any better. That said, spending a bit more can get you smoother operation or easier installs...but beyond a certain point, it's mostly hype. I'd stick to mid-range unless there's a specific feature you really want.
