So, last weekend I finally got around to having a heat pump installed at my place. Thought it'd be straightforward, you know, just a quick job and done. But nope, it turned into this whole saga. First off, the installers showed up late because they apparently got lost (even though I live in a pretty easy-to-find neighborhood). Then halfway through the install, one guy realizes they brought the wrong size brackets or somethingβhad to run back to their warehouse.
After they finally finished and left, I noticed the unit was making this weird rattling noise every time it kicked on. Turns out they didn't secure something properly inside. Had to call them back again yesterday to fix it. Now I'm kinda paranoid about what else might've been missed or messed up.
Has anyone else had an installation go sideways like this? Wondering if it's just my luck or if this is more common than I thought...
