Touchless taps sounded like a dream until I realized they come with their own set of headaches. Is it just me, or do these things seem to burn through batteries way faster than advertised? Also, what’s the deal with the sensors getting confused by sunlight or even a shiny dish? Sometimes I wonder if the water savings are worth the hassle (and the cost of batteries). Do you think sticking with a regular faucet is actually the smarter move in the long run, or am I just being too old-school about it?
