Honestly, I’ve seen plenty where cleaning just doesn’t cut it—especially if the spray’s all over the place. Sometimes those tiny rubber nozzles warp or hard water eats away at the insides. At a certain point, it’s just easier (and less annoying) to swap in a new one.
I hear you on the cleaning not always working. I tried soaking mine in vinegar, poking the nozzles, the whole nine yards—still had water shooting sideways. Turns out, the mineral buildup had actually cracked the plastic inside. At that point, no amount of scrubbing was gonna fix it. Swapping it out took ten minutes and honestly, the new one’s way better for water pressure anyway. Sometimes it’s just not worth the hassle trying to revive a lost cause.
