Honestly, vinegar does work for some folks, but I’ve seen it go sideways a few times too. If the showerhead’s got a cheap finish or it’s one of those plastic chrome jobs, soaking it in vinegar overnight can actually mess up the plating or make it look cloudy. I usually recommend just taking the head off, giving it a quick soak for maybe 30 minutes tops, and then scrubbing out the jets with an old toothbrush. Sometimes those little rubber nozzles just need a good poke.
