I've been noticing lately that after heavy rains, the ground around my house stays soggy for days. I mean, I know drains aren't magic, but shouldn't they be helping a bit more? I'm starting to wonder if mine is clogged or just poorly installed. Has anyone dealt with something similar or have tips on how to check if the drain system is actually working properly?

Haha, totally feel you on that—sometimes it seems like drains are just decorative garden features. Might wanna peek into the catch basin or pop a cover off...could be some leaves or mud clogging things up. It's usually something simple. Hang in there!
