After years of dealing with a damp, musty basement every time it rained, I finally tackled the drainage issue head-on. Did some research, watched way too many YouTube vids, and ended up installing a French drain system myself. Took me a whole weekend (and a few sore muscles later), but now my basement is dry as a bone even after heavy storms. Feels pretty awesome tbh. Curious if anyone else here has DIY'd their own drainage fixes and how it turned out?
