Lately I've been noticing something weird with my shower and faucets. Like, I'll turn it on, and at first it's all good, nice strong flow, but after a minute or two it just kinda... fades out? Not completely gone, but definitely weaker than when I started. It's driving me nuts because rinsing shampoo out of my hair takes forever now, lol.
I checked around for leaks under the sinks and around the water heater—nothing obvious there. Also tried cleaning out the showerhead thinking maybe mineral buildup was the culprit (we have pretty hard water here), but nope, still happening. I'm starting to wonder if it's something deeper in the plumbing system or maybe even an issue with our pressure regulator valve thingy (I googled that one, haha).
Anyway, before I call in a plumber and spend money I'd rather not spend right now (ugh), thought I'd see if anyone here has dealt with this sorta thing before. Maybe there's some simple fix or trick I'm missing? Or is this one of those "bite-the-bullet-and-call-a-pro" situations?
