Never had much luck with booster pumps doing anything but stirring up trouble in my old place. We tried one after getting tired of the trickle in the shower, and it worked for maybe a week before the water turned brown and the kitchen faucet started leaking. Ended up replacing a section of pipe anyway. I’ve heard about those pipe lining treatments too, but I’m always a bit skeptical—seems like you’re just covering up the real problem. Honestly, after all that, I started looking into low-flow fixtures and rainwater collection just to avoid stressing the system more. Sometimes less is more, I guess.
