Been thinking about upgrading my plumbing to cut down on water use, and I'm kinda stuck between low-flow fixtures (like showerheads and faucets) or going all-in with a greywater recycling system. Greywater seems cool but maybe complicated? Curious what you guys prefer and why.

Greywater systems can definitely save more water overall, especially if you're big on gardening or landscaping. But yeah, they're a bit more involved—think extra plumbing, filters, and maintenance. Low-flow fixtures are a simpler swap-out; just unscrew the old stuff and install new ones. If you're handy and don't mind a weekend project, greywater's awesome...otherwise, low-flow fixtures are an easy win with immediate savings. Maybe start small with fixtures and see how motivated you feel after that?
