So, after months of tweaking stuff around the house, I finally got my water bill down by like 30%. Installed some low-flow showerheads, fixed a sneaky toilet leak (who knew?), and rigged up a rain barrel for watering the garden. Honestly, it felt pretty good seeing that lower number on the bill, you know? Curious if anyone else has tried similar stuff and how it worked out for you.

Nice job getting that sorted—I bet fixing that toilet leak did way more than you'd think. People don't realize how much water those small leaks can waste over time... gallons a day, seriously. Rain barrels are great too, but I've noticed some setups can get algae growth or mosquito issues if they're not sealed properly. Did you run into any of that, or did you set up some kind of screen or filter?
