Totally relate to that detective mode vibe. Had a similar head-scratcher last springβ€”turned out my "clog" was actually tree roots sneaking into the pipe. Took forever to figure out, but at least the garden got some composted fertilizer out of it... silver linings, right?

Haha, that's a pretty resourceful way to look at it. Plumbing mysteries can be super frustratingβ€”I spent days troubleshooting mine last year. Hang in there, you'll crack this one too eventually.

Haha, turning a plumbing mess into garden fertilizer is definitely making lemonade out of lemons. I had a similar situation last springβ€”my toilet kept backing up randomly, and after days of troubleshooting (and way too many YouTube videos), I finally realized it was tree roots invading the sewer line. Ended up renting one of those heavy-duty augers to clear things out. Have you checked your sewer line yet? Might be worth looking into if things keep acting up...

Tree roots are a nightmare, had that happen at my last place. Renting an auger definitely helps, but honestly, if it keeps happening, you might wanna bite the bullet and get a camera inspection done. Costs a bit upfront, but it'll pinpoint exactly what's going on down thereβ€”saved me from throwing more money at temporary fixes. Did you notice any slow drains or weird gurgling sounds before things got really bad?

Yeah, camera inspections are definitely worth it if you're dealing with recurring issues. Did you notice if the problem gets worse after heavy rain or seasonal changes? Sometimes roots grow faster during certain times of the year. Also, did you check if your neighbors have similar issues? Could be a bigger sewer line problem rather than just your property...might save you some headaches down the road.
