Been looking into redoing some plumbing at home and trying to make it a bit more eco-friendly. I'm torn between copper pipes and PEX tubing. Copper seems durable and recyclable, but I've heard mining it isn't exactly great for the environment. PEX is cheaper and easier to install, but it's plastic, you know? Not sure how sustainable that really is long-term. Curious what others think or if anyone's had experience with either one in terms of environmental impact.
