Did mine online too, definitely beats the old-school paper shuffle. Took about the same time, but heads-up: my state threw in a random security question verification step this year. Wasn't expecting that, had to dig through old notes for the answer. Also, make sure your browser doesn't auto-fill outdated info—almost submitted the wrong address. Still, way smoother than standing in line at the office...

- Online renewal is convenient, sure, but it's not always the best route.
- Had issues last year with the state's verification system glitching out mid-process—ended up locked out for days.
- Plus, if your info changed recently (like mine did), updating online can trigger extra verification steps that actually take longer than just visiting in person.
- Honestly, picking an off-peak time at the office can sometimes be quicker and less frustrating overall...depends on your luck with tech.

Had a similar experience last year—thought I'd breeze through online renewal, but nope, the system decided I didn't exist halfway through. Ended up at the DMV anyway, chatting with a guy who swore he once waited so long his license expired while in line (pretty sure he was joking...maybe?). Honestly, if your info's changed recently, just bite the bullet and go in person mid-morning on a random weekday. Usually quicker than wrestling with glitchy websites.

Yeah, learned that lesson the hard way when I moved into my new place last year. Thought I'd save time online, but the address change threw everything off. Ended up spending half my day at the DMV anyway. Speaking of address changes—anyone know if updating your address online with utilities is just as glitchy? I'm hoping to avoid another round of "you don't exist" errors...

Yeah, I ran into similar issues with utilities when I moved last summer. Online updates seemed straightforward at first, but then I got stuck in a loop of verification errors. Ended up calling customer service directly to confirm everything was accurate—tedious, but worth it for peace of mind. I'd recommend double-checking your info by phone afterward, just to avoid any billing mix-ups or service interruptions down the line...
