The app setup was a bit tedious for me too, but once I figured it out, it was smooth sailing. Maybe next renewal I'll give the kiosk a shot...

I've used both the app and kiosk before, and honestly, the kiosk was way easier for me. The app glitched halfway through my payment last time, and I ended up having to restart the whole thing. But the kiosk? Literally took like three minutes flat—scan, pay, done. If you're already comfortable with the app, though, either way's probably fine. Just figured I'd share since you mentioned the app setup being tedious...

I've stuck with the kiosk myself—just feels safer to me. Had a weird glitch with the app once too, and it made me nervous about payment security. Probably just paranoia on my part, but still... better safe than sorry, right? Plus, the kiosk is usually quick and straightforward, no surprises. Only downside is having to actually go somewhere, but honestly, it's worth the peace of mind for me. If you're already comfy with the app though, you're probably fine sticking with it. Just figured I'd toss in my two cents since glitches were mentioned.

I hear you on the kiosk thing. Last time I tried the app, it froze mid-payment and I spent the next hour convinced I'd accidentally funded someone's vacation to Bali... Kiosk might mean pants and shoes, but at least no surprise tropical getaways on my dime.

I usually stick with the kiosk myself—less chance of mystery charges or surprise vacations, lol. Last time I renewed online, the site kept timing out, and I ended up refreshing so many times I was paranoid I'd paid three times over. At least with the kiosk, worst-case scenario is awkwardly standing in line behind someone who forgot their glasses... beats funding someone else's Bali trip.

I've tried the kiosk a few times, and yeah, it's generally reliable. But honestly, the last time I went, the person ahead of me spent a solid 15 minutes squinting at the screen and repeatedly punching in wrong info. Felt like forever. Personally, I've switched back to online renewal, but here's the trick: I always use a wired connection instead of Wi-Fi. Sounds old-school, I know, but hear me out—Wi-Fi dropouts or interference can cause those annoying timeouts and double charges. Since I started plugging directly into my router, I've never had an issue with timing out or accidental double payments. Might be worth a shot next time if you're feeling brave enough to give the website another go... beats standing behind Mr. Magoo at the kiosk, anyway.
