Had a bit of a sink disaster last night (water everywhere, you know how it goes). Got me thinking...if you had to pick just one for emergencies—a wrench or a plunger—which would you keep handy and why?
I'd probably lean toward the wrench, honestly. A plunger's great for quick clogs, but if you've got water spraying everywhere, tightening or loosening a valve is usually step one. Had a similar situation last month—pipe under the sink decided to give up mid-dinner prep. Quick wrench action saved the day (and dinner). Plus, from an eco-friendly angle, stopping leaks fast means less wasted water...always a win in my book.

Haha, glad I'm not the only one! Just bought my first house and had my own pipe disaster two weeks in. Thought I'd be all heroic with the plunger... nope, just ended up soaked and humbled. Wrench was definitely the MVP in round two. Solid advice on the eco-angle too, hadn't even thought of that.
