Had a bit of a plumbing adventure yesterday... heard dripping under the sink and yep, pipe was leaking. Didn't have time (or patience, honestly) to call a plumber, so I grabbed some duct tape and wrapped it around the leak spot nice and tight. It actually held up pretty well overnight, surprisingly enough. But obviously that's just temporary.
Anyway, today I got some epoxy putty from the hardware storeβthis stuff is amazing, btw. You knead it together, slap it onto the leak area, and let it set for like half an hour. Worked like a charm. No more dripping noise driving me nuts.
But now I'm curious if anyone else has clever hacks or tricks they've used when dealing with leaky pipes at home. I'm sure my duct tape solution isn't exactly top-tier plumbing advice, haha...
