Had a bit of a plumbing adventure yesterday—noticed water pooling under the kitchen sink and yep, found a small leak in one of the pipes. I'm no plumber, but figured I'd give it a shot myself before calling in the pros (and paying a fortune, lol).

First thing I did was shut off the water supply—obviously, learned that lesson the hard way once before. Then dried the pipe thoroughly and wrapped some plumber's tape around the leaking joint. It slowed down but still dripped a bit, so I grabbed some epoxy putty from the hardware store, kneaded it up, and pressed it firmly around the leak. Waited about an hour, turned the water back on, and so far, fingers crossed, no more drips.

I'm not sure how long this fix will hold, though. Anyone tried something similar or have a better trick up their sleeve? I'm all ears, cause plumbing is definitely not my strong suit, haha.
