Good points overall, but honestly, sometimes it's not even worth messing around with washers or seals if you're not 100% sure. I've seen plenty of cases where folks spend hours troubleshooting a tiny leak only to realize the actual pipe threads themselves were worn or stripped. If you've checked everything else and still have issues, might be worth swapping out the whole fitting or pipe section. Costs a bit more upfront, but saves you from crawling under there every weekend... trust me on this one.

Good advice overall, but before swapping out the whole pipe, have you considered checking the water pressure? A neighbor of mine had a similar issueβ€”kept replacing fittings and seals, but the leaks kept popping up. Turned out their water pressure was way too high, causing constant stress on the connections. Installing a simple pressure regulator solved it completely. Might be worth looking into before you replace everything... could save you some hassle and reduce waste too.

Yep, seen this happen more times than I can count. Before you start tearing everything apart, grab a cheap pressure gauge from the hardware store and check it out. Ideal household pressure is usually around 40-60 psiβ€”anything higher can cause headaches like yours. A regulator's an easy fix and way cheaper than replacing pipes every other weekend... unless you're secretly enjoying the plumbing practice 😉

Had a similar issue at my aunt's place last summer. She'd been blaming the cheap fittings under her sink for weeks until we finally checked the pressureβ€”nearly 90 psi, no wonder everything kept springing leaks. Installed a regulator and problem solved, though I swear she was secretly disappointed we weren't coming over every weekend anymore... guess she missed the free entertainment. Anyway, definitely worth checking before you end up on a first-name basis with the plumbing aisle employees.

Had something similar happen here, thought I was losing my mind replacing fittings every other weekend. Turns out our pressure was sky-high too. Installed a regulator and haven't had a leak since... kinda miss my weekly chats with Dave from plumbing though, nice guy lol.
