My garbage disposal was getting pretty sluggish lately, and I was already mentally preparing myself to shell out for a new one. But then I stumbled across a tip online about tossing some ice cubes down there to sharpen the blades. Honestly, I was skeptical (ice cubes, really?), but figured what the heck. Gave it a whirl and, you know what, it actually worked. Disposal sounds way smoother now. Curious if anyone else has tried this or has other weirdly effective home fixes they've discovered?
