Rainfall heads do look sleek, but have you considered the water pressure issue? I've seen a few cases where folks installed them and ended up disappointed because their home's plumbing couldn't deliver enough pressure for that gentle rainfall effect. Also, eco-friendly options are great, but sometimes they can clog easier due to smaller nozzles—have you thought about maintenance? Just something to keep in mind before jumping into an upgrade...

Fair point about the pressure, but honestly, I swapped to a rainfall head last year and haven't noticed much difference. My house isn't exactly new either—built in the 80s, plumbing's nothing special. Maybe it depends on the brand or model? I did go for one with slightly larger nozzles though, specifically to avoid clogging issues. Maintenance-wise, it's been pretty low-key so far... just a quick wipe-down every now and then. Might be worth checking out some reviews or asking around before ruling them out completely.

Good points about the nozzle size—I hadn't thought of that. My shower's been spraying everywhere lately too, and I've been hesitant about rainfall heads because of pressure worries. Maybe I'll reconsider... sounds like it might be worth a shot after all.

Yeah, same here... aren't rainfall heads usually kinda weak on pressure? I swapped mine out a while back hoping it'd help with the spray-everywhere issue, and it did—but the water pressure dropped noticeably. Maybe there's a sweet spot between nozzle size and head type? Or maybe my plumbing just hates me, haha. Curious if anyone's found a good middle-ground fix that doesn't break the bank.

Rainfall heads aren't always weak on pressure—it really depends on your home's plumbing setup and the specific model you choose. I had similar worries at first, but after some digging, found that pairing a rainfall head with a high-pressure valve or even adding a simple inline booster can make a huge difference. Also, smaller diameter rainfall heads (around 6-8 inches) tend to maintain better pressure than those massive 12-inch ones. Might be worth experimenting before writing them off completely...
