I've thought about trying CLR too, but honestly, I'm kinda nervous about chemicals eating away at the finish. Does anyone know if there's a safer alternative that's stronger than vinegar but won't risk damage? I'm still getting used to this whole homeowner thing and don't wanna make things worse by accident...

Haha, totally feel you on this—my first few months as a homeowner were basically a comedy of errors. Anyway, have you tried citric acid? It's stronger than vinegar but still pretty gentle. I use it on my showerhead every few months and haven't melted anything yet (fingers crossed). Plus, it doesn't smell like pickles took over your bathroom, which is always a bonus...

We've all been there... showerheads are pretty forgiving, so don't stress too much. Citric acid's solid advice—just soak it overnight, rinse well, and you'll be good. You've got this.

Citric acid usually does the trick, but if it keeps spraying weird after cleaning, it might be the internal washer or screen. Ever taken yours apart before, or is this your first plumbing adventure?

I've been there—taking apart plumbing stuff always feels a bit intimidating at first. Just remember to shut off the water beforehand (learned that the hard way, lol). You've got this, though... showers aren't rocket science, thankfully.
