Honestly, vinegar's overrated.
- Tried it myself, barely helped.
- Ended up soaking mine in CLR for about 15 mins—worked way better.
- Just rinse thoroughly afterward, stuff's strong.
Might save you from buying a new one...

Yeah, vinegar didn't do much for me either. Ended up unscrewing the head and poking through the holes with a toothpick—tedious, but weirdly satisfying. CLR sounds quicker though, might try that next time mine acts up...

Haha, toothpick method—been there, done that. CLR's pretty solid, but heads-up: it can be harsh on certain finishes. Anyone ever accidentally wrecked their showerhead finish trying to clean it, or is that just my special talent?

I've seen CLR cause issues a couple times myself. Had a customer who used it on a fancy matte black showerhead, and it left some pretty noticeable streaks and discoloration. Not exactly a fun conversation explaining that to them... Have you tried plain white vinegar instead? Usually gentler, though you still gotta watch the soaking time. Curious if anyone else has had better luck with vinegar or another mild solution?

Yeah, vinegar's usually safer—CLR can be harsh on finishes. I've soaked showerheads in vinegar overnight without issues, but with matte or specialty finishes, I'd stick to shorter soaks and rinse thoroughly after. Better safe than sorry...
