A shower temperature shift when another fixture runs
What observations help tell whether a brief shower-temperature swing is related to the pressure-balance valve, a change in supply pressure, or something else?
Does it matter whether the trigger is a toilet flushing versus a tap opening, or whether the shower’s flow changes at the same time? I’m also curious whether the pattern differs when the shower is set hot, cold, or somewhere between. Which clues would make a valve or plumbing inspection worthwhile?
