How long should labor be covered after a faucet cartridge repair?

A quote to replace a bathroom faucet cartridge can sound clear until the faucet starts dripping again or the handle gets stiff soon afterward. What’s a reasonable way to compare workmanship warranties for that repair?

I’d want the quote to name the symptom and the part being replaced, then spell out how long labor is covered if that repair doesn’t resolve the same issue. Are replacement parts covered too, or would another visit mean a new charge? I’d also expect unrelated wear or a separate leak to be treated differently, but the boundary may not be obvious. How do plumbers usually define that distinction in writing?
