Good points about faucets, but are we sure rebates always lead to quality? I've seen plenty of customers regret grabbing the cheapest low-flow shower head just because it was practically free after rebate. Ever tried rinsing shampoo out under one of those weak drizzles? Not fun. Aerators seem less risky—harder to mess up a faucet stream, right? Maybe the real question is: are people actually using these devices properly, or just installing them and forgetting about water habits altogether...?

Haha, been there. I installed a cheap low-flow shower head once thinking I'd save a ton on water bills. Big mistake. Ended up spending twice as long in the shower just trying to rinse properly, defeating the whole purpose. Aerators, though, have been pretty foolproof for me—easy install, consistent flow, no noticeable inconvenience. Definitely agree that habits matter more than gadgets, but at least aerators don't sabotage your routine...

Haha, exactly my experience! I remember standing there forever, trying to rinse conditioner out of my hair, wondering if I was actually saving anything. Eventually switched to a slightly pricier low-flow head with adjustable settings—much better. Aerators have been a no-brainer for me too; cheap, easy, and they don't mess up your daily routine. Definitely agree it’s about finding the right balance between saving water and staying sane...

Had a similar issue myself—picked up a cheap low-flow head thinking I'd save money, but ended up wasting more time and water trying to rinse soap off. Switched back pretty quick. Faucet aerators, though... those have been great. Easy install, no hassle, and I actually noticed a drop in my water bill. Guess it's about choosing your battles carefully.

I've had mixed luck with low-flow shower heads myself. The cheap ones can feel like you're standing under a dripping faucet—been there, done that, not fun. Have you tried one of the slightly pricier models with adjustable spray patterns? They seem to do a better job rinsing soap off without you having to do the awkward "shower dance."

Totally agree on faucet aerators though, they're underrated little gadgets. They're easier to install and give instant results without sacrificing pressure. Plus, who doesn't love seeing a lower water bill at the end of the month?

I wonder if the issue with shower heads is more about quality than just going "low-flow." Maybe it's worth splurging a bit more upfront to avoid frustration later?
