Okay, so last night around 11pm, I heard this weird dripping sound coming from the bathroom. Thought it was just the faucet acting up again, you know, no biggie. But when I walked in, there was water pooling all over the floor and leaking from under the sink cabinet. Panic mode activated. I tried turning off the faucet knobs but that did absolutely nothing. Eventually found the main water valve thingy (thank god for YouTube tutorials at midnight), and shut it off. Now I'm stuck with no running water until a plumber can come tomorrow afternoon.

This got me thinkingβ€”what if it had been worse? Like a burst pipe or something? I realized I have zero clue what to do in a serious plumbing disaster. Do you guys have like a go-to checklist or something for when plumbing goes totally sideways? Or maybe some tips on what to keep handy in case of emergency? I'm feeling pretty unprepared here, lol.
