Had a pipe burst under the sink last night, water everywhere, total chaos. Managed to shut off the main valve (thank god I knew where it was), then wrapped the leak with duct tape and a piece of rubber from an old bike tire. Held surprisingly well overnight till I could get proper parts today. Anyone got better quick-fix tricks or hacks for plumbing disasters?
