What does an after-hours drain callout actually cover?
An emergency drain-cleaning callout can sound like one fee, even when the visit and the clearing work are billed separately. What should that initial charge cover: travel, diagnosis, and a defined amount of labor, or just getting a technician to the door?
I’d also want to know how the after-hours rate applies once work starts, and whether using a cable machine or another method adds a separate charge. If the drain can’t be cleared on the first visit, is there a return fee or a new callout? Which terms are worth getting clarified before authorizing the visit?
