Been doing some reading lately about composting toilets and other low-water options...you know, trying to do my part and all that. I gotta admit though, the idea of dealing with compost from my own toilet makes me a bit uneasy, lol. Curious how open everyone else is to switching over. Quick poll:
1. Definitely, already using one!
2. Considering it seriously
3. Maybe, but skeptical
4. Nope, not for me

Haha, I totally get that hesitation...it's definitely a mental hurdle at first. I've installed a few composting toilets for clients, and most end up pleasantly surprised by how manageable it is once they get used to it. One thing I'm curious about though—how comfortable would folks be using compost from their toilets in their gardens? Seems like opinions vary quite a bit on that one...
Haha, yeah, I felt the same way at first. A friend of mine switched to one a couple years ago and swears by it now. She says once it's fully composted, it's basically just soil—no smell or anything weird. Personally though, I'd probably stick to using it around trees or shrubs rather than veggies...just feels better mentally, lol.

Haha, I get the hesitation, but honestly, if it's composted properly, it's totally safe even for veggies. Still, I understand the mental block—maybe start with flowers first and ease into it?
