"Just lightly mist around the suspected leak area, wait a minute or two, and you'll spot the leak without turning your bathroom into a Smurf crime scene."

Haha, that's a clever one. Wish I'd thought of that last weekend—ended up with blue streaks everywhere. Still beats the time I tried powdered chalk...talk about a dusty mess. Anyway, good tip, I'll keep a spray bottle handy next time plumbing decides to ruin my day.

Haha, the spray bottle trick is clever, but honestly, I've found that plain old toilet paper works even better. Just wrap a little around the pipe or suspected joint, wait a few minutes, and any leak shows up as a damp spot. No mess, no blue stains, and no dusty chalk clouds floating around your bathroom. Learned that one the hard way after turning my sink cabinet into an accidental tie-dye project...

Haha, been there myself—my own cabinet still has some questionable blue spots. But hey, quick question: ever tried using paper towels instead of toilet paper? I find they're sturdier and show dampness clearly without shredding or leaving lint behind. TP's great in a pinch, but if you need something tougher for awkward spots, paper towels might save you from another accidental art project...

Paper towels can definitely hold up better, but aren't you worried about them clogging the drain if bits break off? I've always been cautious about using anything thicker than TP around plumbing—seen a few nasty blockages from stuff you'd think would flush fine. Maybe it's just me being overly careful, but have you ever had issues with paper towels causing clogs or slowing drainage down?

I've seen paper towels cause issues firsthand—had to clear a drain once where someone thought they'd flush fine. They don't break down like TP, so even small bits can build up over time... I'd stick with caution on this one.
