Had this annoying drip-drip-drip under my kitchen sink for weeks, kept putting it off cuz I figured it’d be a total nightmare to fix. Finally decided enough was enough and spent yesterday afternoon watching a few YouTube vids, grabbed some plumber’s tape and a wrench, and dove in. Honestly expected to end up with water everywhere or having to call a plumber anyway, but surprisingly...it actually worked. Took me like an hour tops, and now it's dry as a bone under there. Felt pretty dang proud of myself afterward, you know?
Curious if anyone else has tackled plumbing fixes you thought would be a disaster but turned out surprisingly well. Or maybe a funny story about how it went slightly wrong but you fixed it anyway? Always nice to hear I'm not the only one winging it through home repairs, haha.
