my shower's plotting against me

I swear my shower has it out for me. Yesterday, mid-shampoo, the showerhead just decided to detach itself and smack me right on the head. After recovering from the shock (and embarrassment), I figured it's probably time to replace some stuff in there. But now I'm thinking...what if my shower's secretly alive and this was just its first act of rebellion? Maybe it's tired of the same boring fixtures day after day...
