Had a bit of a plumbing adventure last weekend, trying to fix a leaky pipe under the sink—yeah, fun times. Anyway, found out the hard way that not all adhesives are created equal. PVC cement worked wonders on plastic pipes, but was totally useless when I tried it on metal fittings (rookie mistake, I know). Ended up grabbing some epoxy putty from the hardware store which saved the day. Curious if anyone else has a go-to adhesive or hack for plumbing fixes?

Been there, done that... plumbing is definitely a trial-and-error thing. Haven't tried epoxy putty yet—sounds handy. Is it pretty easy to work with for beginners?
