"Maybe I didn't do it right or something... Did you dilute the vinegar or use it straight?"

I tried straight vinegar once too—didn't notice much either. But when I took the showerhead apart and soaked just the nozzle part, it actually helped. Might be worth another shot?

Straight vinegar can help a bit, but honestly, if your water pressure is consistently low, it's usually not just mineral buildup. I'd check the flow restrictor inside the showerhead—removing or replacing that often makes a noticeable difference. Worth a quick look before soaking again...

Good tip on the restrictor—I had a similar issue last year and thought vinegar would solve everything (spoiler: it didn't). Ended up pulling out the restrictor, and boom, instant improvement. Definitely worth checking before you start soaking stuff overnight again...

Yep, those restrictors can be sneaky little culprits. Had a similar battle with my showerhead last summer—thought it was clogged pipes or a faulty valve. Spent a weekend soaking everything in vinegar, even swapped out some washers...nothing. Finally, a friend suggested checking for a flow restrictor hidden inside the showerhead. Took me like 5 minutes to pop it out (just unscrewed the head, gently pried out the little plastic piece with a flat screwdriver), and suddenly my sad drizzle turned into an actual shower again.

Quick tip if you're gonna try this: put a towel or cloth in the sink drain before you start pulling things apart. Learned the hard way how tiny those restrictors are when mine slipped out and disappeared down the drain. Took another half hour fishing it back out—lesson learned, haha.

Anyway, glad you got yours sorted—water pressure problems are weirdly frustrating!

Interesting fix, but isn't removing the restrictor technically against plumbing codes in some areas? I recently moved into my first home and had similar pressure issues. My plumber advised against removing it completely—said it could void warranties or cause inspection headaches later. Instead, he recommended swapping to a high-pressure showerhead designed specifically for low-flow setups. Worked surprisingly well...might be worth considering before pulling things apart.
