Couldn’t agree more about the noise - ours is in the loft and you can still hear it faintly downstairs when everything’s quiet. One thing I’d add: if you’ve got a combi boiler, most pumps won’t work anyway, so it’s worth double-checking your setup before you buy. Sometimes just descaling the shower head gives you 80% of the improvement for almost no cost. Pumps are handy, but not always the silver bullet folks hope for.
