Last weekend, I noticed a weird dripping sound downstairs and found that my water heater was leaking all over the floor. Turns out I'd been neglecting it pretty bad... hadn't drained it or checked the pressure valve in years (oops). Now I'm stuck with a hefty repair bill. Has anyone else learned about water heater upkeep the hard way, or is it just me being clueless?
