Yeah, I get the logic behind low-flow fixtures, but honestly, they're not always a slam dunk. If you're gonna do it, pick quality brands—cheap ones clog or leak way too often. Learned that lesson swapping out bargain faucets twice in one year...never again.

Yeah, been there myself—thought I was saving money until the "budget" showerhead turned my bathroom into a splash zone. But still, I'm not totally sold on the pricier low-flow fixtures either. You ever wonder if the savings on your water bill actually outweigh the upfront cost of quality fixtures? Seems like it takes years to break even...

Yeah, I've seen that happen plenty of times. Cheap fixtures always seem like a good idea until you're mopping up puddles or grabbing the wrench again. But honestly, even some pricier low-flow models aren't exactly bulletproof. Had a customer last month who paid top dollar for a fancy eco-friendly faucet, and it still had issues with mineral buildup within a year. Sometimes it's less about price and more about choosing brands known for durability and easy maintenance.

Yeah, totally agree with this. I've found that regular cleaning and occasional vinegar soaks help a lot with mineral buildup, even on pricier fixtures. Maintenance matters just as much as brand choice, honestly...

Totally with you on the vinegar trick—works wonders. Another thing I've noticed is that even durable brands can struggle if your water pressure's too high. Had a faucet once that kept dripping no matter how much I cleaned or replaced parts... turned out the pressure regulator was shot. Swapped it out, and problem solved. So yeah, maintenance is key, but checking your home's water pressure occasionally can save you headaches down the line too.
