Had a bit of a scare last weekend when my washer decided to turn the laundry room into a mini swimming pool. Turns out the drain hose had slipped loose from the standpipe. After mopping up the mess (ugh), I figured there had to be a better way to secure it.
Ended up using a zip tie and a small clamp to hold the hose firmly in place. Took like 5 minutes and cost almost nothing. Been a week now, and no more surprise floods. Wish I'd thought of this sooner, honestly.
Curious if anyone else has little hacks or tricks they've come up with to keep their laundry plumbing from causing headaches. I'm all ears, because I really don't wanna mop again anytime soon, you know?
